What our customers say

Fabricated testimonials are common on landscaping and nursery websites. They are easy to write, impossible for a visitor to verify, and they work — which is exactly why the Federal Trade Commission now prohibits them under its rule on consumer reviews and testimonials. Writing a glowing quote and attaching an invented first name and last initial is not a grey area.

So we have not done it. When customers leave reviews, they will appear here, attributed properly. Until then the page stays honest and mostly empty.

What you can judge us on instead

• Come and look at the stock. The nursery is open to visitors by arrangement. Plant quality is visible in person in a way it is not in a photograph — ask to slide one out of its pot and look at the roots.
• The gallery is sixty-five photographs from the actual growing rows, not stock imagery.
• The guides and learn section are fifty-four articles written from working knowledge of this county. They are a reasonable proxy for whether we know what we are talking about.
• Ask for specifics on the phone. Ask what we would plant in your conditions and why, and what we would advise against. The answer tells you more than a testimonial would.
