1. What installation covers

  • Site visit and measurement — run lengths, available depth, sun exposure, drainage and access
  • Layout and spacing plan — how many plants, at what centres, at what starting size
  • Ground preparation where the site needs it
  • Planting to correct depth and spacing
  • Mulching and finishing
  • Clean-up and a watering schedule specific to the planting

2. Typical projects

Privacy screening. The most common request. Clusia along a fence line or property boundary, spaced so it closes evenly rather than in patches. Spacing and starting size are the two decisions that set both cost and timeline — see our hedge spacing guide.

Full bed installation. Layering height, texture and colour so a bed reads as designed rather than assembled.

Commercial and HOA. Repeat planting across multiple properties, phased to a schedule, with consistent stock from one grower.

3. How a project runs

  1. Call or send photos. Rough measurements and a description of what you want the space to do.
  2. Site visit. We look at sun, drainage, access and sight lines in person.
  3. Quote. Plants, delivery and labour broken out so you can see what you are paying for.
  4. Install. Material comes from our own rows, so scheduling is not waiting on a supplier.
  5. Aftercare. A watering schedule and a phone number that still answers.

4. Grown, delivered and installed by one team

On a full installation the risk sits in the handoffs — a designer specifies, a supplier ships, a separate crew plants, and each blames the last when something is wrong. Every gap is a place for the result to slip.

We close those gaps by doing it ourselves. The plants are grown on our rows, delivered on our trucks and installed by the people who raised them, so there is a single standard from seedling to finished planting and a single party answerable for it.

That continuity is what makes the finished job hold up — correct plants, correct spacing, correct planting, and stock matched from one source across the whole site. Start from a site photograph and rough measurements on the contact page, or read how grower-direct works.

Book a site visit. Fifteen minutes on your property tells us more than an hour on the phone. Bring your questions and your budget. Request a visit.

Frequently asked questions

How much does plant installation cost in Miami?
It depends on the number and size of plants, the length of the run and how much site preparation is needed. That is exactly why we quote on site rather than over the phone — so the number you get is real. Tell us your budget range and we will design to it.
Do you install plants for landscape contractors?
Yes. We supply and install for contractors, property managers and HOAs across Miami-Dade, including phased work across multiple properties.
How long does a hedge installation take?
Most residential hedge runs are completed in a day. Larger projects and those needing significant ground preparation take longer — we will tell you the realistic timeline when we quote.
What areas do you cover for installation?
Miami-Dade County — Homestead, Kendall, Pinecrest, Palmetto Bay, Cutler Bay, Coral Gables, Doral, South Miami and surrounding areas. Outside that range, call and we will tell you honestly whether it makes sense.
What is the difference between planting services and installation?
Planting is putting supplied plants correctly into the ground. Installation is the larger job — supplying, delivering, laying out and planting a whole scheme, coordinated as one project. For a single bed you want planting; for a full frontage or property, installation.
Do you handle the whole project from plants to finished planting?
Yes — that is the point of using a grower for installation. One team grows the stock, delivers it and installs it, so nothing is lost between a supplier and a separate planting crew and one party stands behind the result.
