Services

What we do

Grow, deliver, plant, install. One nursery, one point of contact, across Miami-Dade County.

Green Nursery LLC provides four services from one nursery in southwest Miami-Dade: plant sales, plant delivery, nursery planting and professional plant installation. Because we grow the stock ourselves, the same company is accountable for the plant and the workmanship — and scheduling never waits on an outside supplier.

Four services

Everything we do

Take plants away yourself, have them delivered, or have the whole thing handled.

How it fits together

One call covers all four

Most projects use two or three of these together. A privacy hedge is plants plus delivery plus installation — quoted as one number rather than three invoices.

Buying and planting separately usually costs more and takes longer, because plants sit waiting while you arrange labour. We would rather deliver them into prepared holes.

Common questions

Straight answers

Do I have to buy plants to use your planting service?
Our planting and installation services are built around plants supplied by the nursery, since we know how they were grown and rooted. Call and describe your situation and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.
Can you quote plants, delivery and installation together?
Yes, and it is usually cheaper that way. One quote, one schedule, one company accountable.
Do you work with landscape contractors?
Regularly. We supply and install for contractors, property managers and HOAs across Miami-Dade, including repeat volume and phased delivery.
What areas do you serve?
Miami-Dade County — Homestead, Kendall, Pinecrest, Palmetto Bay, Cutler Bay, Coral Gables, Doral, South Miami and surrounding areas.
How we work

Four services, or one project

Most people come to us for one thing and end up using two or three. They are priced separately so you only take what you need, but they are designed to work as a single chain from the growing row to the finished bed.

The reason that matters is accountability. When plants come from one company, delivery from a second and installation from a third, a plant that fails in month two generates a conversation rather than a solution. Everybody has a plausible explanation and nobody is responsible. We grow, deliver and plant ourselves, which removes that argument entirely — more about how we work.

Plant sales is the core. Container-grown stock raised here in Miami-Dade conditions — the same soil chemistry, the same sun, the same wet and dry seasons your garden has. A plant grown in these conditions does not have to adapt when it arrives, which is why grower-direct stock typically establishes faster than material trucked in from elsewhere and held on a retail lot.

Delivery covers Miami-Dade from the nursery in the southwest of the county. It is quoted on distance, load size and access rather than a flat rate, because those three things genuinely change the job. Container plants are heavier than most people expect — a 15-gallon shrub runs 90 to 120 pounds with wet soil — so unloading is a real logistical question worth settling in advance.

Planting is the service for people who have the plan but not the labour. Correct hole width, correct depth with the root flare visible, native backfill rather than a compost pocket, watered in properly to collapse air gaps, and mulched to three inches clear of every stem. Most plant failures in this county trace back to one of those five things being skipped.

Installation is the full version: layout on the ground before anything is dug, utility checks, drainage assessment, planting, mulch, irrigation guidance and a written watering schedule for the first eight weeks. It suits boundary runs, whole-bed replanting and anything where uniform spacing across a long line matters.

Not sure which you need? Tell us what you are trying to achieve rather than what to buy — “sixty feet of six-foot screening” is more useful to us than a plant list, and we will specify it properly. Get a quote.

Service questions

Common questions

Do I have to use all four services?
No. They are priced separately and most people use one or two. Plant sales alone is very common, as is plants plus delivery with the customer planting themselves.
What is the difference between planting and installation?
Planting puts plants you have already specified into the ground correctly. Installation covers the whole job — layout, utility and drainage checks, planting, mulch, irrigation guidance and an aftercare schedule.
Do you charge for a quote?
No. Send photos, rough dimensions and what you are trying to achieve and we will come back with a figure covering plants, delivery and any labour you want included.
Can you work with a landscape designer’s plant schedule?
Yes. Send the schedule and we will confirm what we can supply at the specified size and grade, flag anything unavailable, and propose alternatives for approval rather than substituting on site.
Do you supply trade and contractors?
Yes. Repeat volume orders, consistent grading and phased delivery matched to a construction programme are a significant part of what we do.
