1. What we grow
Everything on our rows is chosen for one reason: it performs in South Florida. Miami-Dade sits in USDA zone 10b–11a, which means no real winter but plenty of full sun, sandy alkaline soil over limestone, salt air near the coast, heavy summer rain and the occasional hurricane. Plants bred for cooler, richer soils tend to sulk here. The species below thrive.
- Privacy and hedging — clusia and other dense screening species that knit into a solid wall
- Flowering colour — ixora and dwarf ixora, in bloom for most of the year
- Foliage colour — copperleaf and variegated arboricola, for colour without waiting on flowers
- Coastal and salt-tolerant — silver buttonwood and other Florida-friendly natives
- Groundcover and borders — variegated flax lily and blue daze, to cover ground and soften edges
- Architectural accent — variegated agave and other sculptural, low-water specimens

2. Grown for Miami-Dade conditions
Buying a plant trucked in from another state is a gamble — it has to acclimate to our heat, our soil chemistry and our salt before it can settle. Our stock never leaves the region. It is grown, hardened and sold in the same conditions it will live in, which is why it transplants with far less shock.
A few things we build into the stock:
- Full-sun tolerance — plants are grown in the open, not under permanent shade cloth, so they are ready for an exposed front yard on day one.
- Salt and wind hardiness — coastal species are trialled against the salt spray and gusts that come with living near Biscayne Bay or on an open lot.
- Root systems that hold — plants are grown on long enough to build a proper root ball, so they establish quickly rather than sitting still for a season.
3. Homeowners and trade, from the same rows
We sell to everyone, at the same grower-direct pricing.
Homeowners get honest advice about whether a plant suits the spot before any money changes hands. If a plant will not work in your light or your soil, we would rather say so than sell it to you twice. Bring photos, tell us what you want the space to do, and walk the rows with us. Landscape contractors, property managers and builders get repeat volume, scheduled drops and consistent stock across multi-phase jobs — the same clusia this month and next, so a hedge line matches end to end. Call the nursery to set up an ongoing arrangement or a standing order.
4. How buying works
Three straightforward routes, whichever suits you:
- Visit the nursery — walk the rows and pick the actual plants going into your yard. Call first so someone is free to help and the stock you want is on the ground.
- Send a plant list — email or call with species, sizes and quantities and we will confirm availability and price the order.
- Describe the problem — send photos of the space with a note on sun and what you want it to do, and we will build the plant list for you.
Add delivery or planting to any order and we will handle the heavy part.
5. Sizes, pricing and lead time
Container sizes run from smaller, economical stock up to larger specimens that give an instant screen or a finished look the day they go in. As a rough guide, larger stock costs more but buys you time, while smaller stock is cheaper if you can wait a season or two for it to fill in. Tell us your budget and your timeline and we will point you to the right size rather than the most expensive one. For a full order we will put together a written quote covering plants, delivery and planting, so there are no surprises.
